C. Barnes & Co. was established in 1998 in Alexandria, Virginia by president and owner Craig Barnes.

He founded Barnes Reports the same year, which has grown to become a major publisher of annual industry and market analysis reports.

Barnes Reports moved to Southwest Florida in 2015 where it has continued to add new reports series to its well-known collection of publications.

Perry/Hope Partners was established in 2012 with market research experts to develop market analysis data for its expanding client set.
